About Carrara Marble

Carrara marble is a type of white and grey marble that is very popular for home décor and even sculpting. It is quarried in the city of Carrara in the province of Massa which is located in the northern tip of modern day Tuscany.

Carrara marble has been used since the time of Ancient Rome and was used to create some of its greatest structures such as the Pantheon. Carrara marble was even used by Michelangelo to carve his famous statue of David.

Carrara marble has remained a timeless choice to create truly beautiful decors in any setting, from the streets of ancient Rome to the bathrooms of posh New York City apartments.
